Makeup Tips #3

Tip #9 Lip balm with dimethicone or glycerol will seal in moisture and keep your lips softer longer. I love Rosebud Salve Minted Rose Lip Balm. I got mine at Sephora for $7.

Tip #10 If your skin is combination or oily, use facial masks before you shower. If it's dry , use them afterward when your skin is moist. Try Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure skin-clarifying mud mask. I got it for about $6 at Ulta. I've done like 6 face masks and I still have enough for probably 10 more!

Tip #11 Almost any lipstick can double as a blush. My favorite lipsticks to use are coral shades. Dab a little on your cheeks for that sunny glow. Try MAC lipstick in Vegas Volt. $14.50 in MAC stores.

Tip #12 Braids are a low-maitenance way to get a new look. Personally I love fishtale braids, they are perfect for summer!

Makeup Tips #2

Tip #5 (work) Plum blush shades look more sophistcated (and mature) than pinks. Try MAC Powder Blush in Dirty plum ($20). To finish off the look you could wear a plum shade lipgloss.

Tip #6 A brightly-colored manicure for summer is cute and gives your skin a sunny glow. Try Sparitual Nail Lacquer in Dreamsicle ($10 at Sephora). I love this shade! Bright pinks are my fave nail color for summer!

Tip #7 Instead of putting foundation on before your concealer, put your concealer on first. You would be suprised how much less foundation you need to use afterwards. Sometimes I dont even need to put foundation on at all! I use Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer in 230 fair/light. It costs $6 at Ulta.

Tip #8 (party) For the most glam liquid-lined eyes, start the line out thin at your inner corners and gradually make it thicker as you paint it across your lids. Try Lancome Artliner in Nior. ($29.50 at Sephora)

Favorite products: July

1. Urban Decay Build Your Own Palette
In love with this palette! It comes with an eyeshadow brush, the eyeshadow "walk of shame", and five more spaces for more of your favorite shadows. The shadows that I have so far in the palette are: Buck and Tease. I got this palette for $18 at ulta.

2. Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream
I have used this product everyday during the summer because its lightweight, has amazing coverage and has SPF 15. This product renews, Brightens, Evens, Hydrates, and protects your skin. It comes in 2 shades, light/medium and medium/deep. Right now, it's on sale for about $11 at ulta. I love this product!

3. Sephora + Pantone Universe: Strokes of Nature Brush Set
I got these brushes like 2 weeks ago and they are amazing! The brushes are really soft and easy to work with. 1 of the reasons I bought them was because there is a big mirror inside the case. I bought the brush set at sephora for $38 and for five gorgeous brushes that is a good price.

Those were my favorites for this month!
